Natasha Avery, DrPH, LMSW, CHES

Dr. Natasha Avery is the Executive Director of Network 8, Inc., a subsidiary of Alliant Health Solutions. Under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services contract, Network 8 serves end stage renal disease patients in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Dr. Avery is responsible for the overall strategic and operational oversight for Network 8 contract operations.

Dr. Avery has extensive experience in end stage renal disease (ESRD), mental health and medical social work. She is a dedicated advocate for patients and families affected by ESRD, and has worked at Network 8 for nearly a decade as the patient services director. She also serves as a member of the Mississippi Kidney Foundation’s Professional Advisory Board.

As an accomplished professional in her field, Dr. Avery has presented at numerous national and regional conferences. Her work was published in the National Kidney Foundation’s The Journal of Nephrology Social Work and the American Association of Kidney Patients’ magazine, RENALIFE.

Dr. Avery is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). She obtained her MSW before earning her doctorate in public health from Jackson State University. She also holds a bachelor’s in social work from Mississippi State University.
