Alliant Quality is the Medicare Quality Innovation Network - Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) for Georgia and North Carolina, working to ensure Medicare beneficiaries and their families have better health and improved care through collaborative communities. The QIN-QIO program is one of the largest federal programs dedicated to improving health quality for Medicare beneficiaries through education; outreach and collaboration with patients, families, and community partners; and peer-to-peer learning. Over the next five years, Alliant Quality will build on the platform to promote safe care that is patient and family-centered, reliable and accessible by helping community stakeholders, providers, patients, and families to:

  • Improve Cardiac Health
  • Improve Diabetes Management
  • Improve Meaningful Use of Health Information Technology
  • Reduce Hospital Acquired Infections
  • Reduce Healthcare Associated Conditions in Nursing Homes
  • Improve Care Coordination cross all settings
  • Assist providers in their efforts to prevent Adverse Drug Events
  • Provide Technical Assistance for Improving Quality Measures
